270. Picnic in the Park

I wanted to make Picnic in the Park as soon as I saw the pattern by Annabel Wrigley of Little Pinchsuion Studio. I gathered my favorite Heather Ross fabric and coordinating solids, and started sewing.

I used the same black and white gingham in the center square. The rest of it is bright and bold, and I love the blocks so much!

I chose three of my favorite orange prints that went together amazingly well.

I used the same black and white gingham for the binding.
And then I gifted the quilt to my brother-in-law, Pete, who sent me this photo (plus you can see another of my quilts on the wall, Under the Big Top.
