275. Christmas Beads

Christmas Beads is one of three quilts made for grandkids who need larger and less juvenile Christmas quilts. 

I was able to pick some of my very favorite Christmas prints for this quilt, a pattern by Nicole Daksiewicz of Modern Handcraft. Even with all the curved piecing, it was really a fun quilt to make.

I love that Helene chose a quilting design tha tincluded "beads" in some of the loops.

I used forest green minky for the backing and candy stripe binding. 

Charlotte redecorated her room and sent me this photo. (It was fun to see the turntable pillow I made her too)
