118. Lanyard (mini)

 I sent this Lanyard mini to my friend, Terri Wilhelm because she had done a lot of graphics work for the original Lanyard quilt. She loves Anna Maria Horner fabric so that's what I used.

111. Lanyard

By 2014, I was doing more of my own designing and finding inspiration from lots of different sources. 

Lanyard was a fun quilt to make.

The inspiration for this quilt came from a magazine layout for the flooring company, Flor. Because my idea was to copy their flooring tiles quite closely I wrote to ask for permission, which I was granted.

The phenomenal quilting was again done by Krista Withers.

I then submitted my quilt to Modern Patchwork Magazine and it was my first magazine publication.
