92/93. Jammin' Jelly

After my first published pattern by Joen Wolfrom Designs using 5" charm packs, jelly rolls ( strips that are 2 1/2" wide and the width of the fabric, about 40") were the new precut. Joen had me make two versions of the quilt. This was the one that made it on the cover of the pattern.

I think Susan Harper was the one who came up with the name, Jammin' Jelly, which was awesome, because the quilt goes together super fast and it is made using jelly roll strips.

 Here is Version 2.

I don't really like the fabric in either quilt, and have only kept the cover quilt because, well, it's on the cover of my pattern. Years later, I made Jammin' Jelly 2.0, which I LOVE.

91. Summer Soiree'

Another favorite Charm Parade version. I fell in love with the large floral print and made the outside border a bit wider than usual. The binding is a fun black and white animal print

90. Wild Animals

I found a panel with these four safari animals, along with some fabric that looked like African pottery. I collected a lot of animal prints for this quilt.

A selection of wild animal Minkee for the back.

A cute pattern for pawprints wound its way through the quilt.

89. Double Dutch

When I made this quilt I was not sure where it was headed. And there were SO many half square triangles. And then dear friend, Jessica Harper, fell in love with it so of course it went to her in 2010.
