170. One Pink Flamingo

 One Pink Flamingo was inspired by a beach towel at Target.

Kona cotton chooses a Color of the Year each year, and the color for 2017 was Pink Flamingo. At the same time, I had some cute flamingo fabric from Rifle Bond, just the perfect color. I included it in one block, thus the name of the quilt.

One day we took it to the Chaffee Zoo to photograph it by...where else?...the flamingos!
