206. Asian Influence

I started this quilt in 2003. It was a block exchange organized by me, which meant I chose the fabric, a lovely Asian print. Members of the block exchange were: Maggie Harper, Susan Harper, Susan George, Dia Dickie, Jamie Mack, Ingrid Dyck, Bonnie Andrus, Leola Loewen, Dotty Warkentine, Jennifer Ogawa, Christa Wiens and me.

For the first time I used this beautiful border design.

After the quilt top was sewn together, it sat for years. I had intended to hand quilt it. Once I finally realized that would never happen, I handed it over to Darby Myers. I just wanted it to be done!
