3. Pinwheel
This quilt was made for Mark's brother, Pete, for his marriage to Jane.
On the back is a quote from "How to Make an American Quilt": Love is like a quilt. You must choose your combination carefully. The right choices will enhance your quilt. The wrong choices will dull the colors, hide their original beauty. There are no rules to follow--you have to go by instinct, and you have to be brave.
