243. Friendly Faces

Friendly Faces was made for a special little girl, Lovey, using one of my favorite lines of fabric, Friendly Faces by Heidi Kenney. I have probably purchased at least 6 yards of it. It is just SO cute! 

I used the Pixel Chain pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew, and used a different "friendly face" in each of the blocks. Ella picked them all out, which was fun. Then I paired each face with two different solid colors, and made the Irish chain blocks out of a variety of black and white prints.

Darby quilted it with a fun flower design.

You just can't go wrong with a stripey binding.

These were taken on the play structure where Lovey goes to preschool.
