Back in the day, I usually made a donation quilt for MCC every other year. For awhile I called this quilt "3460," as that is how many pieces were in it. The pattern name was actually A New Beginning. It is supposed to mimic a Baltimore Album quilt, which is traditionally appliqued. But I do not do applique. This quilt is entirely pieced on the machine.
And as usual Mark's cousin, Ione, did an amazing job of quilting. This quilt sold for $3700!
Again, the quilt was hung in the front, always an honor.
