This was a baby quilt for Grace Isaac, born October 27, 2004, to dear friends, Jason and Jane Isaac. I saw Grace's bedroom and was inspired to replicate the picket fence.
This was the first quilt design entered in a design contest sponsored by Quiltmaker Magazine--and my first rejection. I should have saved the letter even though it was a rejection--but I tossed it.
