210. Stars and Stripes

Stars and Stripes is a pattern by Camille Roskelley. My friend, Megan Pruett, has made a couple of these in a faded "beachy" style, which I love. She was kind enough to give me the red and blue fabric already cut for the blocks. 

The backing was something that had been in my stash for years.

When my friend, Tonya Koop, mentioned on Facebook on the 4th of July 2022 how much she loved all the patriotic vignettes she had scattered throughout her house, I just knew the quilt needed to belong to her. Mark and I took it over that very afternoon.
