208. Dumb Dot

 Oh selvages. How I love you. 

I have been saving selvages for years. Collecting. Organizing by theme. Collecting some more. I have used them in many small projects but it was time to make a major selvage quilt. 

I used a block, Selvage Whirlwind, designed by Amy Friend. 

Each block had a theme. Water, fish, Hawaii...

Love. Ending with a broken heart.

Candy.

Fruit.

Of COURSE there was a block with Dumb Dot.

It was so  much fun to carefully go through all my selvages and figure out each block's theme. And so messy. (see my label?)

Oh look. A typo...

Yes, I could probably make a few more quilts just like this!
