In early 2018, I had thyroid surgery. Gabe drew a get-well card, which I fell in love with.
I thought the way he drew the word "love" with a heart was genius. In fact, every time I post a picture of the pillow, I credit him and mention that it is copyrighted.
Anyway, I knew I had to create something of permanence that I could enjoy. I enlarged the design, embroidered it on a piece of Kona white and made a pillow. It makes me so happy when I get it out every year around Valentine's day.
