186. Big Purple Machine

Perfect backing fabric:

 A favorite designer, Kelli Fannin, asked me to pattern test one of her new patterns, Sew Big or Go Home.

 I changed the name of my quilt to Big Purple Machine. For obvious reasons. 

I had gotten a big box of purple batiks from Hoffman, 30 one-yard cuts! So I had a lot of fun playing around with the all the purple.

So many tiny pieces.

I loved adding this little ruler print and the "you + me".

Then I took it to a local quilt shop for some photographs.
