When in Oregon for Pete and Jane's wedding, I bought a little packet of 25 pieces of patriotic fabric. Aaron thought they would look great in a patriotic quilt, but of course I had to purchase a lot more fabric.
It was a fun quilt to work on, as Aaron got to vote in his first presidential election in 1996.
It was entered into the Big Fresno Fair in 1999 and received third place. Judge's comments: "Pretty patriotic quilt! Good color balance. Very nice workmanship. Great hand quilting! Wonderful!"
